Our Mentorship Program

Our New Graduate Mentorship Program was designed to support our newest associates as they transition from clinical year to clinical practice. We've created a one-year tiered approach to learning, which will help you to gain all of the skills that you need in your first year. From clinical training, to communication skills, and business acumen, we'll teach you the ropes to ensure that you feel confident as you make your mark as a clinician.

One-Year Mentorship Program

New graduates are enrolled in our Year-Long New Graduate Mentorship Program, which supports them in the transition from classroom to exam room.

Access to Experienced Mentors

Each new graduate in our program has access to our entire Medical Operations team, their in-hospital mentor, as well as a matched "Big Sibling" with similar clinical interests.

Hands-On Surgical Mentorship

Each of our new graduates is eligible to participate in our week-long intensive surgical training program to guide you step-by-step through soft tissue surgeries.

“Before the dental (mentorship) program, I felt my skills were very limited. I had minimal experience with extractions, especially canines and 3 root teeth. After the program, I feel much more comfortable and confident in my ability to extract all teeth. I would recommend this program to any new graduate who wants more dental training. I would let them know that this program allows hands-on experience with extractions while being supervised, so help is there when you need it. ”
Dr. Sarah G, Associate Veterinarian
